A tweet from the official PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Twitter account shows a new weapon entering the fray – the Mini-14.

The lightweight .223 caliber rifle makes its debut alongside next week’s update for the massively popular Early Access game. Their Twitter account also stated the update includes a foggy weather condition, FPP leaderboards, and multiple bug fixes. The date isn’t solidified, but test servers will be up for “at least 2 days early next week”.
First-person leaderboards are a step in the right direction when considering the clamor of vocal fans, but people are noting a “vaulting” movement functionality that’s still missing. Recently PUBG developer Bluehole made clear their intentions to put out updates only when they’re ready as opposed to a strict, monthly basis. Until it reaches retail stage, they want to “utilize the test servers for significantly longer periods of time” and put out the best content possible.
Get in on the frenzy of PUBG through Steam, selling for $29.99 with their Early Access program.
