Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition Revealed

A “Complete Edition” for Guerrilla Games’ Horizon Zero Dawn has been announced, courtesy of PlayStation’s Twitter account. It releases December 5 for $49.99 USD. Check out the post below for a look at the game’s box art.

Horizon Zero Dawn: Complete Edition includes the base game, all Digital Deluxe content, and The Frozen Wilds expansion. The expansion is the first (and probably final) DLC for Horizon and releases separately a month before on November 7. So if you’ve missed out on the adventure so far, it might be a good idea to wait until December and get all of the Deluxe goodies too. At launch, the Deluxe Edition included resources, weapons, a PlayStation 4 theme, and a digital art book.

Released February 28 of this year, Horizon Zero Dawn represented a new frontier for Guerrilla Games, most known for their Killzone shooter titles. The action role-playing adventure follows the story of Aloy, an orphan of sorts in a far-future version of Earth made up of tribal societies. Her journey takes her to the origins of the world she knows, as well as the end of another.

The Frozen Wilds is a new experience in the world of Horizon with a new map, new weapons, new settlements, and new challenges. It’s been called a substantial DLC experience that’s set in Yellowstone National Park, though it’s obviously known in-game by the tribe that inhabits it. Aloy has a new mystery ahead as she encounters the Banuk people and a host of dangerous “wildlife”.

Horizon Zero Dawn: Complete Edition releases December 5 exclusively on PlayStation 4.
