ASTRO Spartans: $1,000 Halo 2 Anniversary 2v2 Tournament

Today we are officially announcing the ASTRO Spartans: Halo 2 Anniversary 2v2 tournament powered by ASTRO Gaming. Compete against the best Halo 2 Anniversary players to earn major cash and some sweet ASTRO gear, including the Halo A50, Scout Backpacks & T-Shirts.

Be sure to read the entire article for all of the important details if you’re interested in competing.


You must be available from 3:00 PM EST to 11:00 PM EST on Saturday, September 5th, to play your matches.



You will need to register on the Beyond Entertainment forums here.
Post your team name and gamertags in this thread.


1st Place: $600 +  2x Halo A50s

2nd Place: $150+  2x Scout Backpacks

3rd Place: $50 +   2x ASTRO T-Shirts

*Prizing may take anywhere from 4-8 weeks to arrive after the tournament has concluded.*

You can download the settings from the gamertag “Beyond Settings” on Xbox Live.

All maps and settings cannot be edited except the score to win must be set to 25.

• This tournament is open to everyone in the United States, Canada and Europe.
• Be sure you will be available on September 5th to play your matches
• You must have a Beyond Entertainment Forum account

There will NOT be a player check-in thread for this tournament. If you sign up, you secured a spot in the bracket.



We will be using the Halo GameBattles dispute policies so please refer to this link for more information on disputes and cheating. Please note that all disputes will be handled by Beyond Entertainment staff and the results of those decisions will be final. If you are caught cheating you will be permanently banned from the website and forum until the end of time.

Please note that for this tournament, any spam or disrespectful posts or messages towards staff may result in a disqualification. Our staff has been very polite and patient with anyone with tournament issues, but hopefully this new rule will encourage better behaviour and cooperation in the future.

If your team name is considered offensive in any way, we will change your team name to something of our choosing or simply disqualify you from the tournament.
