Halo World Championship 2017 Information Revealed

After the stunning conclusion to the 2016 Halo World Championship, fans set their eyes to the HCS Pro League, where numerous teams competed in both seasonal pro play as well as the open circuit competitions.

However, there were always murmurs of another international tournament on the horizons. Today, at the HCS Pro League Fall Season Finals, 343 Industries and ESL unveiled their plans for the 2017 Halo World Championship.

Format & Information:

  • 12 International Teams
  • Open LAN Qualifiers
  • $1 Million Prize Pool
  • Double Elimination Final Tournament
  • North American, European, LATAM, ANZ Regions
  • Crowdfunding for individual LAN events

 

Open LAN Qualifiers:

  • St. Louis by UGC – Jan 20-22 ($50,000)
  • London (Gfinity Arena) – Feb 17-19 ($25,000)
  • Mexico City – Feb 24-26 ($20,000)
  • Las Vegas by Millennial Esports – Mar 3-5 ($50,000)
