How To Compete

If you are competing in an ASTRO Spartans Free-For-All, you may be responsible for hosting your group and inviting players to your tournament lobby. In the photo above, you’ll see an example of an FFA Groupings page that designates one player as the lobby’s host. If you are hosting your heat, please invite all players to your lobby and begin your match 10 minutes after the round start time.

If you are not the designated host of your group, simply contact your host and join their tournament lobby. If you have not been contacted by a host by the 10 minute round cutoff, you must immediately notify tournament staff via private messages or our tournament support Discord server. After completing your match, record the results and notify the admins that your group has finished.

Submit Disputes
If you run into an error with your match, your bracket, or your opponent, you can contact the Beyond Staff overseeing the tournament by submitting a dispute on your match details page or our Discord server. If you attempt to contact Beyond via Twitter or non-official dispute channels, you will not be guaranteed a response.

Situations where you should submit a dispute include:
Opposing team is a no-show for the match
  • Opposing team has incorrect players or did not show up on time
  • Opposing team is not cooperating in lobby
  • Connection issues, disconnects, and crashes
  • Questions regarding rules, settings, tournament format, etc.
For the most efficient communication and fastest response, submit a dispute on your match details page and we will work out whatever issues you may have. Additionally, if you can provide video evidence (YouTube, XboxDVR) of major disputes, it will help speed up our process and get you through the tournament faster!
With this info, you should be set to start competing in Halo tournaments on TeamBeyond.net. If you have any additional questions, join our community support Discord to communicate with staff and admins. Good luck, and have fun!
