It was close enough that all three halos were a possibility.

Oh well. Anything is better than nothing at this point. I'd rather it be H3 over H4 any day.

Not sure about streaming, but we have plans to use the best gameplay and clips on our YouTube channel.

No spectator mode, so yeah. What we can do is have the winning team put the game in their file share and Beyond can do what they want with it.

Although you mentioned something will be done for UK remember that there´re more countries in the EU ;)

Anyways looking forward to the outcome of this and I´m happy seeing you guys do so much work for Halo and the community!

We will look into doing something for UK players, but we all know how halo 3 is online, and then mix in EU guys playing on an American host or vice versa, would only cause problems.

Just fixed the thread with some updated information. Apparently, some gambling laws have changed and more states are eligible to compete now.  :ghost:

I believe the current plan is to have the finals, the best gameplay, and the top 5 clips uploaded to our YouTube. Nothing is set in stone though.

I would like to see some Reach tournaments as well. I know that Halo 3 is good and all, but it's just that the online is horrendous and frustrating.

My question is.. Will there be Beyond Reach tournaments in the near future?

I really can't understand why H3 was chosen over Reach v7. For the poll, or for the tournament. It really is just the better choice, and the netcode could potentially tide over UK players as well. Oh well.

Halo 3 had more votes, game gets more views and bettter reception by players, and was also recently free so it's more open to people to play.

Remember this is just 1 tourney, Reach is very possible.

In that case, is a Promod tournament a viable possibility?

Interesting how similar polls end up with different results.

http://teambeyond.ne...-3-or-reach-v7/

Anyway, I don't think it matters much which game is played.  The tournament will fill up either way.  I'll enjoy watching either way.

This is as good a way to start as any.
