Fortnite 50v50 Battle Royale Mode Revealed

At The Game Awards 2017, Epic Games unveiled a brand new limited-time mode for their hit take on the Battle Royale genre. Check out the trailer for the Fortnite 50v50 mode!

The rules for 50v50 are fairly straightforward for Fortnite Battle Royale fans and veterans. Players may queue with a team or matchmake with up to four players per squad. Two teams of 50 are flown over the island and may drop at any location to loot and fight one another.

In order to work as  a team with your 50 comrades, any allies will be marked with a green arrow on the HUD and will be seen as a green indicator on the minimap. Friendly fire is disabled, so you are encouraged to share loot and engage in large battles against the enemy team.

The amount of players alive on each team can be seen under the minimap. The Fortnite 50v50 mode for Battle Royale is available now, but will only be playable for a limited time! Head to our Fortnite discussion thread to discuss the latest updates to the game!
