Sledgehammer Games have more plans to improve and sustain their newest successful Call of Duty release—Call of Duty: WWII. Here are some of the WWII winter updates that fans can expect to see in the coming weeks!
Winter Carentan & Winter Siege
Starting on December 8th, Call of Duty: WWII will feature a themed seasonal event for winter, coined “Winter Siege”. The event will begin at 10am PST on 12/8 and will continue into January. The game’s pre-order bonus map, Carentan, will receive a visual overhaul for the winter theme. The event will also include weekly rewards for players who participate.
Call of Duty: WWII’s Ranked Play hopper will go live on December 1st, and will offer 4v4 skill-rated combat using competitive rulesets and settings. Hop in to the new playlist to rank up and prove your boot-on-the-ground skill.
WWII’s new social space, Headquarters, has not been functioning properly for many players. The space is meant to be matchmade and populated with other online players, but many Call of Duty players are finding themselves alone in the game’s hub. The upcoming updates intend to improve matchmaking and occupancy of the Headquarters space.
