A new trailer for Call of Duty: WWII released today, revealing details of the game’s setting along with stunning visuals. As far as Call of Duty trailers are concerned, it looks fantastic—setting a new bar for visual fidelity. It also brought an intensity that sets the bar high for its single-player experience, watch it below.
Though the trailer itself doesn’t say much regarding characters, the description provides some details. You play as Private Ronald “Red” Daniels, a recruit in the infamous U.S. First Infantry Division commonly known as the Big Red One. He experiences combat for the first time at Normandy on D-Day. From there, the fight continues across Europe at locations such as Hürtgen Forest and the Ardennes region. From all that’s shown in the trailer, it’s going to be a hellish fight into Germany.
Call of Duty: WWII releases November 3 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The multiplayer beta for PC has a set date of September 29.
