If you are one of the many eager to get your hands on the next-gen remastered bundle Batman: Return to Arkham, unfortunately you’ll have to wait a while longer. How long exactly? Well, that is indeed to question.
WB Games has informed fans that their upcoming game has been delayed from it’s released date of July 26th stating that the game needs polishing. Here is the statement from WB Staff Member, Steve Grayson:
“After reviewing the progress of the project, the team at WB Games has decided to delay the release of Batman: Return to Arkham to give the team at Virtuos Games additional time to deliver a polished Batman Arkham game experience. We do not have a release date yet and will be sure to communicate that once we are sure the game will be ready. We know this is disappointing news, but we feel the extra time will allow the team to create the best gaming experience for our fans.
In order to keep conversations around this topic in one place, please keep any discussions regarding this news in this thread. All other posts regarding the release delay will be locked and directed to this post.”
This news is very discouraging to fans of the Batman Arkham Series especially after the issues during the Batman: Arkham Knight launch in 2015. Luckily those issues only pertained to the PC version which at this time, Batman: Return to Arkham is only releasing on Xbox One and PS4.
What do you think about Batman: Return to Arkham being delayed? Will this change your opinion on buying the game? Join the discussion our forums!
