Today at San Diego Comic-Con it was announced that Agent Locke who is the star of Halo digital feature, Halo: Nightfall will be a playable character in Halo 5: Guardians in 2015. It was recently announced that Mike Colter would be portarying Agent Locke in the Halo: Nightfall digital feature as well. This will be the first playable character in a Master Chief Halo game since the Arbiter in Halo 2.
It has also been reported that Halo: Nightfall will take place on a broken piece of Halo ring from Halo: Combat Evolved. This is the first time we will see the ring since the opening cut-scene of Halo 2 in 2004. Mike Colter will also be doing voice-acting and motion capture for his Agent Locke role for Halo 5: Guardians.
